Stratford police is asking the public for assistance identifying a suspect allegedly involved in a snatch-and-grab robbery at Paris Jewellers located inside the Stratford Mall.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m. Nov. 26, the Stratford Police Service received a report of the robbery from staff at the jewellery store. Police learned an unknown man attended Paris Jewellers and took several items of jewellery before fleeing on foot.
No damage was caused and no injuries were sustained as a result of the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion. He is approximately six feet tall with a slim build. He has black hair in dreadlocks and was wearing a white zip-up sweater or coat, a black t-shirt and dark pants. He was last seen running west on Ontario Street toward C.H. Meier Boulevard.
